Captain Francis Baring

Francis Baring (1833-1895) gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Scots Guards. He died unmarried at age 61.

ReplyDeleteFrancis Baring was also a noted sculptor. He exhibited a marble figure titled 'Gretchen' in the 1873 International Exhibition in London.
