He is a brother to Caroline Louisa Cavendish-Bentinck, one of Queen Elizabeth's great-grandmothers.
ReplyDeleteInteresting! Bentinck is a Dutch name. In 1688 we invaded England, resulting in the Prince of Orange (the leader of The Netherlands) also becoming the King of England. His best friend Hans Bentinck also made the trip to England. He became the Earl of Portland, his great-grandson was an UK Prime Minister.
