I did look at the tight curls in her hair. Do you know when the picture was made? Did they have hair permanent chemicals then or could they possibly be natural?
This picture was taken in the 1850s. I don't think they used permanent chemicals back then, so I guess the curls are natural. Also I don't know what she's wearing between her neck and her waste, some kind of garment? I like the facial expression of the man, very lively, like he's about to say something to you.
