I like looking at Queen Victoria's family photos, thanks for the link. A few weeks ago we had some programmes on tv (in the UK) about Queen Victoria's children, very good programmes and lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteI watched the same programmes as Lisa B mentions and they were really rather enthralling. This is a wonderful picture, Rob. The young lad in the middle looks strikingly like Queen Elizabeth in this pose....ah, those royal molecules...!
ReplyDeleteAnd of course the Royal Family had their photo taken by a photographer with a double presidential name :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the links. I enjoyed viewing Queen Victoria's online scrapbook and learning more about her eldest daughter Victoria, the Princess Royal at the Wikipedia link. The young boy in the picture you've posted also favors Queen Elizabeth's father, King George. In the online scrapbook, there's a painting of Queen Victoria at age 11 that reminds me of Prince Andrew's oldest daughter Beatrice.
