Since these cats don't have hair, their skin is quite warm. I recall reading a magazine article about a woman who had two of these cats as pets and their warmth helped her in dealing with a chronic pain condition. She would place one cat on her neck and the other on her leg. She said they really helped her pain management and were wonderful pets.
Rob, I'm sorry your cat passed away. Did she/he make it to their 22nd birthday? I didn't realize cats could live that long. You must have taken very good care of him/her.

I'm glad he is well wrapped up these cold days.

ReplyDeleteAha, I didn't know that. I haven't got a cat anymore, otherwise I could shave her and test your theory :-)

DeleteNo, she didn't make it to her 22nd birthday. I've read about 26 year old cats so I had some hope she would live on for a few more years.
DeleteThat's an exceptionally wrinkly hairless cat!
ReplyDeleteI take it your cat has died, Rob, sorry to hear that. Will you be getting another.
ReplyDeleteThank you, it was very sad. For now I don't get another cat, maybe in the future.
