I am so excited that NASA saw fit to release that archive of images to the public through that Flickr site. It is an overwhelming collection that is only hinted at with this selection Rob.
ReplyDeleteThe lens flare in this picture illustrates the fact that all the images are purported to be the un-retouched original images. I hope to someday soon pour over these images in search of that reported alien moon base ;-)
The moon and space are ever fascinating. I vaguely remember watching one of the later Apollo missions -- it might have been this one. Wonder if humanity will make it back to the moon someday?
